Paris Hilton In Deep Doo Doo Over Dog Boast

Paris Hilton’s puppy love has landed her at the centre of a new L.A. Department of Animal Services investigation.

The dopey heiress boasted to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres about owning 17 pets, apparently unaware that it is illegal in L.A. to have more than three dogs at any one residential non-kennel, non-breeder address.

Animal Services sources tell TMZ.com that bosses of an animal rescue organisation have complained to the officials, who paid her a visit on Tuesday.

Paris Hilton and pooches were not at home at the time and the organisation reportedly plans to return to conduct a full inspection.

Paris Hilton also revealed to DeGeneres that she has built her pet pooches a miniature version of her L.A. mansion in her garden – complete with minature furnishings, including a chandelier.

Animal Services better get in there quick – that chandelier is a doggy death trap just waiting to happen.
