Paris Hilton & Kevin Federline Party in Las Vegas

Kevin Federline and Paris HiltonThe unlikely duo of Kevin Federline and Paris Hilton caused heads to turn in Las Vegas over the pre-New Year’s weekend.

On Sunday, the duo partied together for the second night running.

Both were in town to host separate New Year’s Eve parties – hers at LAX, his at Tangerine – but each name attraction started celebrating early, hitting LAX on Saturday and Pure Nightclub on Sunday.

A source close to Federline said that the two hung out in Hilton’s room Saturday after leaving the club.

Still, they seemed less chummy on Sunday at Pure, mingling only briefly before drinking a shot of tequila together.

Girls gone wild dominate celebrity headlines in 2007

A crop of girls gone wild dominated the celebrity headlines this year, but the death of former Playboy playmate Anna-Nicole Smith loomed over them all like a platinum-blonde cautionary tale.

Pop-music stars, Hollywood actresses, the talented and the talent-less all found themselves in the news for the wrong reasons in 2007, when the theory that there is no such thing as bad publicity was severely tested.

Smith's death from an accidental drug overdose in a Florida hotel room in February at the age of 39 sparked a worldwide media frenzy, even if no-one could explain precisely why.

Famed for her marriage to an octogenarian oil tycoon in 1994, Smith once appeared to be on the road to supermodel status after she replaced Claudia Schiffer as a Guess Jeans model in the early 1990s.

But the public blonde-bombshell persona unravelled over the course of the following decade, the sudden death in the Bahamas in 2006 of her beloved son Daniel occurring just months before her own demise.

Drug dramas

Smith's struggle to find happiness was mirrored by the tortured 12 months endured by former pop princess Britney Spears and actress Lindsay Lohan.

Spears and Lohan were two of the biggest names struggling to get their lives and careers back on track after a year where they seemed to lurch from one lurid tabloid headline to the next.

Both stars checked in and out of rehabilitation centres more than once this year, with Spears' increasingly erratic behaviour ultimately seeing her stripped of custody of her two children following her divorce from Kevin Federline.

Lohan, 21, found herself in the news after being discovered passed out in a hotel corridor following the Golden Globes in January, a red flag warning that was followed by the now customary stint in rehab.

Yet it got worse when Lohan was caught for drunk driving and drug possession in May only to be nabbed for the same offences in July.

Lohan eventually escaped a lengthy prison sentence, spending only 84 minutes behind bars.

Lohan has kept a low profile since completing a spell in an austere Utah rehab clinic in October, but the impact that her wayward behaviour has had on her career remains to be seen.

"Right now, she'd have to pay a studio to get herself into a movie," a film studio executive was quoted by Entertainment Weekly as saying of Lohan.

The executive blamed Lohan and other young celebrities' travails on "Hollywood's compulsion to turn child actors into products, plus a frenzied 21st-century media culture that has made Lohan and other celebs into exotic prey in flashbulb cages."

Behind bars

While Lohan escaped with less than two hours behind bars, hotel heiress Paris Hilton was not so fortunate.

The reality television star and professional 'celebutante' was shell-shocked after a Los Angeles judge sentenced her to 45 days prison in alcohol-related reckless driving case in May.

However the real drama was still to come. Released into home detention after spending just three days behind bars, she was swiftly hauled sobbing back to court where a judge ordered her returned to prison.

She emerged from incarceration to a blizzard of flashbulbs in late June, drawing a line under a celebrity soap-opera that transfixed the world.

Ironically, Hilton's co-star and friend Nicole Richie also spent time behind bars in 2007, albeit a less-than-harrowing 82 minutes, after being caught driving under the influence down the wrong way of a Los Angeles freeway.

Richie, the 25-year-old daughter of soul singer Lionel Richie, was also fined $US2,048 ($2,351) and placed on probation for three years.

The troubled Winehouse

But the roll-call of troubled celebrities extended beyond the Los Angeles bubble, most notably with British soul singer Amy Winehouse, best known for her autobiographical single Rehab.

Although Winehouse enjoyed phenomenal success with her breakthrough album Back to Black, which has helped earn her six Grammy nominations, the talented 24-year-old's life has appeared at times to be hurtling off the rails.

A reported drug overdose in August was followed by a stint in rehab, which led to the cancellation of concert tours in the United States.

Winehouse was arrested for drug possession in Norway in October but worse was to come the following month when the singer's husband Blake Fielder-Civil was remanded in custody for conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

Fielder-Civil, accused of trying to persuade a man he allegedly assaulted to withdraw from giving evidence against him, remains in prison.

Winehouse's career has nose-dived as a result, and a 17-date British tour was cut short for health reasons after a shambolic opening gig that saw the singer stumbling around the stage and swearing at the audience.

December saw tabloid photos of a distraught-looking Winehouse outside her home in the early hours wearing only a bra and jeans.

"The constant bombardment by certain agency photographers at her home has increased anxiety and caused disturbance," her spokesman said, confirming she was now undergoing medical treatment once again.

But things got worse for Winehouse on December 18, when she was arrested and questioned by police in connection with the charges against her husband before being released on bail.

Lohan's Ex Dishes About Lindsay

Lohan's ex-boyfriend has some interesting things to say about Lohan's sexual appetite...

Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend, Riley Giles, recently told UK's News of the World that Lohan would often demand marathon sex from him.

"Lindsay's definitely a nymphomaniac. She's wild in bed. We'd have sex a couple of times in the day and then go to it through the night. We once did it four times in a row straight. That was crazy. Lindsay was insatiable. She'd demand sex again and again. We'd go at it for hours. She'd have worn out most guys."

He also claimed that he and Lohan would often stay in bed for days, that Lohan has an addictive personality but that she really does want to get off drugs, and that the two would say "I love you" to each other. He also claims that the two still talk everyday.

He also talked about Lohan's suicide attempt, something he says she told him about.

"She was in a London hotel and had been out partying all night and taking drugs. Back in her room she downed a load of Xanax anti-depressants and alcohol to mellow her out. She started running a bath, climbed in and before she knew it she'd passed out.

"As the bath overflowed she was totally unconscious and it was only because her assistant ran in and saved her that she didn't drown. Lindsay said that was a terrifying wake-up call and showed her just how close she was to losing her life through drugs.

"Lindsay felt her life had become totally unmanageable. She drank from the moment she left work then stayed up all night doing coke."

Lindsay Lohan Capri Plans, Cameron Diaz & Jennifer Garner Christmas Break

Mark Canton, chairman of the 12th Annual Capri, Hollywood International Film Festival, has received word that Lindsay Lohan plans to be among the celebs arriving on that Italian isle for the Dec. 27-Jan. 2 event -- a fact that, in and of itself, assures boatloads of press.

Lindsay Lohan

No, it doesn't seem to matter that what Canton terms "the small but mighty" festival is being held New Year's weekend in terms of attracting star power -- what with honorees Paul Verhoeven and Dennis Hopper, and attendees including Hayden Panettiere, Christopher Lee, John Malkovitch, and directors from Terry Gilliam and John Irvin to Shekhar Kapur and Claude Lalouche. The films and previews slated include Canton's own "The Spiderwick Chronicles."

He tells us he'll be doing a presentation of his Feb. 15-debuting movie that's based on the bestselling children's book series about three children who face off against goblins and other magical creatures. Star Freddie Highmore will be on hand. "Freddie has really become the go-to guy in his age range," notes Canton of the 15-year-old "August Rush" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" lead. "There are some young people on the scene today who can really act, like Dakota Fanning and Freddie." Canton, the producer and former long-time studio chief (his latest hit was the bloody, blue-screen sword 'n' sandals phenom "300") knows there's bound to be a great deal of talk at the fest about the industry's strike strife.

"It impacts the entire world, which we should never lose sight of. Without being too technical about it, it's a matter of support. Talent seems to support each other no matter where they're from. So you're not going to find filmmakers from either side of the Atlantic crossing picket lines," he adds.

Meanwhile, there's Capri, "a little island that, by the way, ain't a bad way to spend New Year's Eve." Plus, he notes, "Lina Wertmuller is coming. That's the one person I can't wait to meet."

YULE LOG: Cameron Diaz plans to "see my family in town" on Christmas. The L.A.-based star, who voiced her Princess Fiona character on ABC's delightful "Shrek the Halls" holiday special this year, adds, "I love Christmas because of the way it promotes everyone coming together, friends and family. It's also because it's a time-out." Diaz is among the notables who've used their celebrity to spread cheer, quietly visiting children's hospitals. She says, "It's a fortunate position to be in. I try to use it wisely."

"We get Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off and I'm really looking forward to it," says Jennifer Garner, currently trodding the Broadway boards in "Cyrano de Bergerac" with Kevin Kline. She'll be spending the holiday with husband Ben Affleck and 2-year-old daughter, Violet, of course.

Marcia Gay Harden, her husband Thaddaeus Scheel, 9-year-old daughter Eulala and 3-year-old twins Julitta and Hudson will be heading to their mountain getaway for Christmas. "We have a little tree here in Harlem, where we live," says the actress. "We'll have a bigger one when we go up to the Catskills for the holidays. My sister will be coming up from Texas. We're hoping the lake there will freeze, and then we'll have a skate party New Year's Eve when NPR broadcasts the waltzes from Vienna."

WHEN FAMILY CALLS: "The Sarah Silverman Project" regular Laura Silverman is trekking to Israel to see her sister, Rabbi Susan Silverman, and family this week -- and says the increasing turmoil in the Middle East didn't make her think twice about going. "They live in the country on a kibbutz, and I feel very safe. It's kind of a nice idyllic life for a kid. There's a lot of freedom, they can run around outside, they have a whole community of people looking after them. Yes, there's the occasional bombing, but there's little to no street crime or anything like that. You don't see homelessness. You don't see begging. It's exactly like a really very well run country." She adds, "The kibbutz where my sister lives has taken in several Sudanese families, which really moves me because Sudan is the sworn enemy of Israel but nonetheless the Israeli people are taking them into their homes and they're being integrated into society. They want them there, and they're doing everything they can to allow these people to make Israel their home."

For her part, traveling all the way around the world to see her nieces and nephews "is worth it. My sister has five children -- 14, 12, 8, 5 and 4, and I feel like they don't know me that well though I was there last Christmas. I just miss them so much. I can't wait to just go and chill and play with the kids."

Renee Zellweger slams girls like Paris

Renee Zellweger

Actress Renee Zellweger has slammed the Hollywood clubbing scene - because fame-hungry girls like Paris Hilton use partying to launch themselves as celebrities.

The Bridget Jones' Diary star is unsympathetic to Los Angeles' new breed of socialites-turned-screen stars.

When asked what she thinks of hotel heiress Hilton, the 38-year-old says, "I can't bear that scene.

"People work so hard to get where they are in this business, so it makes me angry when I see someone making a mockery of what we do, just trying to make five bucks."

Spears the 'toxic avenger'

Britney Spears / Snappermedia

WITH pregnant sister Jamie Lynn busy taking up far too much headline space, Britney Spears has resorted to a sustained campaign of late night lunacy to ensure she doesn't suffer publicity deprivation.

For two nights in a row, Spears has kept US paparazzi amused and incredulous with bizarre appearances and rants, leading local gossip site TMZ.com to dub her "the toxic avenger".

On Friday night she was spotted cruising around LA's Sunset Boulevard in a white convertible, using its spare tire on the right rear and with its boot open, before she parked in a grovery store's handicapped spot and hopped in "to buy stuff for my babies" - her two sons to former husband Kevin Federline.

Emerging with a stuffed horse, she vanished into the night.

Singer Spears reappeared 24 hours later elsewhere in the city, getting out of her car and standing in the middle of the street to get a photo of a roadside mural.

But as paps tried to take her picture, a frustrated Spears managed to drop her camera - losing its memory card, until found for her by a snapper - prompting the star to get into a photographer's car for a joyride.

Let's hope she stays out of Santa's way tonight....

Lindsay Lohan a sex addict

Lindsay Lohan / file

MAYBE we should not be surprised, but Lindsay Lohan apparently has a new addiction.

Sex.

Yes, the woman once dubbed "fire crotch" by bitchy rivals - and who is at the centre of lesbian rumours - has been outed as a raving "nymphomaniac" by her former boyfriend.

Riley Giles, who met the star in rehab, broke the stunning story in Britain's News of the World.

"Lindsay's definitely a nymphomaniac. She's wild in bed. We'd have sex a couple of times in the day and then go to it through the night," he said.

"We once did it four times in a row straight. That was crazy. Lindsay was insatiable. She'd demand sex again and again. We'd go at it for hours. She'd have worn out most guys."

The 24-year-old professional snowboarder says the wild-child actress - who has publicly battled booze and drug demons amidst lurid gossip about her forays into lesbianism - slipped him a note asking for his phone number while they were both cleaning up their acts at a Utah rehab facility.

"From that moment it was on... The chemistry between us was so strong we couldn't help ourselves," he recalls.

Giles gushed about Lindsay's impulsive behavior, her seduction techniques, and her near-death experience.

After their two-month rehab stint came to an end, the duo rented a cabin and went "at it like rabbits," the British tab reports.

"If you have an addictive personality like Lindsay, you need that to replace the highs you got from taking drugs all the time. Sex became a key part of her recovery," Giles said of Lindsay's desire to trade drugs for sex.

"And we didn't get out of bed for days.

"The first time we had sex I couldn't believe I was looking down at Lindsay Lohan naked. We'd barely gotten through the door when we just ripped each other's clothes off," he recalls.

During their brief affair, Giles says Lindsay told him all about her drugged-out days when she nearly killed herself.

But then as soon as she began to open up, it was over. Lindsay returned to L.A. to salvage her career.

"Her whole attitude changed about three weeks after she got back there," he said. "It went from I want to move to Utah' to Oh, I love L.A. so much I don't ever want to leave.'

"She told me she'd only ever had three serious boyfriends and I'm one of them. We even planned on getting a house and living together out here in Utah. We were together every day for a month and after that I could tell she really loved me a lot by the way she cried and cried when we had to say goodbye at the airport," he recalled.

Spears Banned from Winston's

Britney Spears has been barred from exclusive Los Angeles club Winston's after allegedly forcing a bartender to switch dresses with her at a Halloween party.

Club owners insist the pop stars is no longer welcome at the venue because her saucy antics have upset regulars.

On October 29 Spears reportedly insisted on switching Halloween costumes with a reluctant barmaid.

Friends tell Life and Style magazine Spears loves hanging out at Winston's because she's smitten with manager Harold Karsenty, who is "a total stud."

One venue insider says, "Harold loved the attention at first, but after a while he got sick of it. ... Britney caused nothing but drama."

The news of the ban has upset Spears fans who use Winston's as a regular haunt. Stacey Kives tells Life & Style, "It was exciting when she was there. The whole bar would revolve around her."

Sales of Britney Spears-related eBay items topped

Users of online auction site eBay wanted more of Britney Spears than Paris Hilton this year.

The number of Spears-related items sold at the online auction site totaled 34,345, compared with 27,377 items associated with Hilton, eBay said this week.

Items associated with Spears ranged from signed CDs to disposable lighters featuring her likeness. Among the Hilton-related items sold: a toothbrush claimed to have been found in the hotel heiress' trash.

Fragrances were the most popular product category sold for Spears and Hilton.

Both fared better than Lindsay Lohan. Her name was only associated with 8,099 items sold, according to eBay.

However, the three tabloid staples were all outslugged by baseball player Barry Bonds, who was pegged to 145,497 related items, including a grilled-cheese sandwich, which netted a winning bid of $30 (€21). The seller claimed Bonds' 756th home-run ball bounced off the sandwich in San Francisco's AT&T Park.

Among the searches for movie franchise-themed merchandise, "Transformers" crushed "Harry Potter" with 442,342 related items sold compared with the boy wizard's 344,825 related baubles. Not surprisingly, wares in the action-figure category made up 71 percent of sales associated with the robots in disguise.

The data, released by eBay to The Associated Press, is based on specific entertainment-related searches of items sold on the U.S. eBay site from Jan. 1 to Nov. 19 that included key terms in the listing title across all product categories.

eBay said it did not track how much money these items attracted.

Paris Hilton’s parents snorted cocaine off a floor with Village People cowboy

Paris HiltonParis Hilton’s millionaire parents once snored cocaine off a floor - with ‘Village People’ cowboy Randy Jones, it has been alleged.

‘Y.M.C.A.’ star Jones has claimed that he once shared a table with Hilton hotel barons Rick and Kathy Hilton at New York’s Studio 54 club in 1997, where they indulged in recreational drug taking.

Jones told the New York Daily News newspaper: “There was one rock of cocaine left, and it rolled off the table. They just didn’t even bother bringing it back up to a hard surface - they just crushed it into the carpet and snorted it off that.

“Whatever Paris Hilton is, she came by it honestly.”

Rick and Kathy both vehemently deny the claims - insisting the incident never took place.

Rick said: “Never happened. We didn’t move to the city until 1979.”

Strong response from Teri Hatcher in lip gloss lawsuit

LOS ANGELES—Attorneys for "Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher say there's no way to gloss over it—the allegations that she promoted a rival lip plumping product are false.

Hatcher and her production company, ISBE Productions, entered into an agreement in 2005 with the skin products company Hydroderm for the actress to exclusively promote its products.

The company filed suit Tuesday, alleging Hatcher violated the agreement by promoting City Lips, which competes with Hydroderm's lip plumping product.

In his motion, Hydroderm attorney Robert Heller wrote that Hatcher's name or image has been used to promote 22 other cosmetic products.

In his response, filed Thursday, Hatcher's attorney, Joseph Taylor, wrote that the actress did not make deals with other cosmetic companies, did "absolutely nothing wrong and has been ready, willing, able and eager" to work for Hydroderm, having participated in an all-day photo shoot and having made herself available for TV appearances.

Taylor blamed management upheaval at Hydroderm for causing "corporate paralysis" and called the lawsuit and a related press release a "destructive publicity scheme" designed to prevent Hatcher from claiming the full value of the agreement.

Hydroderm wants to recover the $2.4 million in payments to Hatcher since November 2005, plus about $400,000 in expenses.

Taylor said the agreement contains a binding arbitration clause and the matter should not have ended up in court.

Hydroderm is "trying to hound" Hatcher into taking less than the company agreed to, her lawyer said.

In a related action Thursday, Superior Court Judge Helen I. Bendix denied a request to speed up the discovery process in the case.

Lindsay Lohan Lawsuit Development

 Lindsay Lohan

In the legal saga that is Lindsay Lohan’s life, her current court battle just got a little less complicated - as a scheduled January hearing has been canceled after being deemed unnecessary.

Stemming from a lawsuit brought on by Raymundo Ortega, who was involved in a car accident with Lohan, recent AP reports tell, “Her lawyers were scheduled to ask a judge next month to compel Ortega to prove the actress was drunk. Instead, they filed to cancel the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing, saying Ortega provided responses to their discovery request.”

But that doesn’t mean that Lindsay’s lawyers aren’t going to fight it. Ortega is seeking a mere $200,000 in damages, while the “Georgia Rule” actress is countersuing for $75,000.

One source told press that Raymundo’s team found, “a copy of Lohan’s bar tab from lunch the day of the crash, which showed that her party of five ordered four Ivy Gimlets—a vodka cocktail—over the course of the meal. Of course, it could be difficult, if not impossible, to prove that Lohan, who was 19 at the time, was one of the recipients of the drinks, especially two years after the fact.”

The Lohan legal team also added that California Highway Patrol had no evidence that she had been drinking, and clearly cited Ortega for the fault of the accident.

Brit threatens Paris with new sex-tape scandal

Image: Britney Spears and Paris Hilton

The feud brewing between Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, which was allegedly sparked after Paris passed right by the birthday girl at Brit's recent bash, just got a little nastier. According to the Daily Star, Britney is threatening Paris: Shape up as friend or pay the price.

“Britney and her pals wrote to Paris and told her they are hearing rumors of a new sex-tape scandal, similar to the ‘One Night In Paris’ footage her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon put on the Web four years ago,” an insider told the Daily Star. “The letter also claims the tape shows footage of Paris locking lips with one of Britney’s female friends at a party.”

The correspondence wasn’t just FYI, as it warned the Paris, “If she continues being rude to people, the footage will be leaked online.” The source added, “Britney and her pals also end their note by telling Paris they look forward to hearing back from her.”

But Paris isn’t exactly shaking in her stylish boots over the threat, a source close to the heiress assured DS. “It’s obvious Britney and her bratty pals are being silly. Paris laughed when she got the letter, supposedly from Britney and said it was ‘crap.’”

Chris Rock bashes Oprah’s pal
Oprah Winfrey’s best friend Gayle King caught a Chris Rock performance in Las Vegas, but she didn’t expect to be part of the act. The National Enquirer revealed that’s just what happened when Gayle brought a date along for the show.

“Chris went on for about 10-minutes about Gayle and her new friend Dean, who is considerably younger than her, and it go so bad she told her date she was leaving and they stormed out,” a source explained.

Chris shot back, “I’m sorry! If y’all don’t see me again, Oprah did it!”

While it’s unlikely Oprah will make him disappear, the Queen of Talk isn’t happy with the funnyman. “Oprah understands it was all in good fun, but Chris hurt someone she cares about very much,” an insider told the Enquirer. “Oprah says she plans to talk to Chris about it, but the damage has been done, and even a heart-felt apology won’t erase Gayle’s humiliation.”

LiLo tells sis: ‘Don’t end up like me!’
With her own downward spiral behind her, Lindsay Lohan now fears for her little sister, Ali. Star Magazine reveals the rehabbed actress is worried about the example she’s set and is urging her sibling, “Don’t end up like me!”

“[Lindsay] knows that Ali idolizes her, but she also realizes that she was a bad influence on her for years,” Lindsay’s pal told Star. “Lindsay’s afraid that Ali will follow in more than just her footsteps onto the screen. She doesn’t want her to experience addiction, rehab or jail, like she did!”

Apparently recent photos of Ali, shot for mom Dina’s new E! reality show, concerned Lindsay. “She’s disturbed by how the makeup made Ali look 25,” the source said. “Lindsay wanted to know if their mom convinced her to take the sexy photos, but Ali told her that she loved the look.”

That coupled with Ali’s tiny diva demands for advice on personal assistants, stylists and an entourage left LiLo shocked. “Lindsay doesn’t fault Ali, since she’s just following everyone’s lead — the way Lindsay did — but she wants to fix this while there’s still a chance.”

Busboy Claims Proof Lohan Was Drinking

Lindsay Lohan

LOS ANGELES -- The busboy who sued Lindsay Lohan alleges in court papers that he has proof the actress had been drinking before she collided with his van in October 2005.

Raymundo Ortega, who is seeking $200,000 in damages, contends Lohan drove her Mercedes-Benz into a van he was driving after she drank alcohol and later tried to escape paparazzi.

The court papers were filed Tuesday.

Lohan, 21, has countersued, saying the California Highway Patrol concluded that Ortega caused the crash by making an illegal U-turn in Beverly Hills.

Her lawyers were scheduled to ask a judge next month to compel Ortega to prove the actress was drunk. Instead, they filed to cancel the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing, saying Ortega provided responses to their discovery request.

Lohan was 19 at the time of the crash. She recently spent more than a month at a drug and alcohol treatment program in Utah, her third visit to rehab this year.

She served 84 minutes in jail Nov. 15 as part of a plea deal on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine possession charges stemming from two arrests that were unrelated to the crash that prompted the lawsuit.

Last week, the celebrity gossip site TMZ.com published what it said was a receipt showing what Lohan and four friends ordered at the Ivy restaurant the afternoon of the crash. The bill includes four Ivy Gimlets, a vodka drink.

Lindsay Lohan dating Heath Ledger “for sex”

Lindsay Lohan recently split from her boyfriend Riley Giles and an Australian magazine now claims it was because she and actor Heath Ledger hit it off. According to the magazine Lohan met Ledger in a New York nightclub over Thanksgiving.

Her encounter with Ledger apparently prompted her to split from Giles as they parted ways soon after Thanksgiving holidays. The report claims the attraction was purely physical and Lohan is only dating him “for sex.”

“Lindsay and Heath hit it off straight away. When she left the club she started texting him straight away and they hooked up a few times while she was still in New York,” read the report. “They were meeting late at night for sex. It was purely physical.”

Ledger recently split from fiancé Michelle Williams, who he has one daughter with. He has been linked to Kate Hudson, Helena Christensen and Heather Graham.

Lohan tops list of dumb celebrities

LONDON: 'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan has topped a new list of dumb celebrities.

The poll conducted by a newspaper judged celebrities based on their intelligence quotients (IQs), poor fashion choices, and bad judgement, reports thesun.co.uk.

Having spent some time in rehab and jail earlier this year, Lohan was chosen as the dumbest celebrity for her "poor movie choices, delinquent behaviour and bad taste in men".

She appeared in a slew of flops in 2007 and got romantically involved with Calum Best and Riley Giles whom she met in rehab.

Others on the list include Kim Kardashian, "The Hills" star Spencer Pratt, and Shia LaBeouf who most recently appeared in "The Transformers".

EX MARKS SPOT FOR LINDSAY

Photo
December 5, 2007 -- Lindsay Lohan is now spending time with her ex, Stavros Niarchos, after she dumped rehab buddy Riley Giles a week ago. Niarchos, who used to date both Lohan and her frenemy Paris Hilton, this time is sticking with the newly sober star. Hilton showed up to a party for the anti-smoking lozenge Ariva at Crimson in Hollywood the other night and tried to hook up with Niarchos - who, spies said, "wanted nothing to do with her and seemed so annoyed by her, he left the party" to go hang with Lohan. Hilton, unaware she had irked Niarchos, was then seen wandering around "asking where Stavros had gone." Meanwhile, someone tried unsuccessfully to sell Lohan family Thanksgiving photos to the weeklies. A source said, "This person wanted $100,000 for a picture of Lindsay cutting the turkey surrounded by [mom] Dina and [sister] Ali. But [a week after the holiday] it wasn't timely. The price came down to $10,000, but no one bought them."

Now, the co-authors of the bestselling book The Princess and the PMS and the medical experts at PMScentral.com are reaching out to female celebrities famous for their tabloid-worthy bad behavior. With trips to rehab, DUIs and questionable judgment becoming more frequent among young stars, the PMS team has contacted the publicists of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and others to offer PMS counseling.

"Of course, not all behavior problems can be chalked up to PMS, but hormonal changes do influence emotional and physical reactions. It's possible that female celebrities who are 'acting out' may be suffering from untreated PMS," says Elizabeth Goodman, co-author of The Princess and the PMS. "PMS can exacerbate underlying emotional issues and certainly affects how women react to alcohol and other substances. There is help for these young women, for all women."

The Princess and the PMS addresses the symptoms of PMS, with particular emphasis on the emotional toll the syndrome takes. With symptoms as varied as binge eating, irritability, physical pain and emotional outbursts, PMS worsens under stress. For young celebrities, the stress of public scrutiny could be magnifying the same struggles faced by millions of ordinary women with PMS.

"With specific lifestyle changes plus counseling and supplements, even difficult cases of PMS can be managed," says Dr. Hyla Cass. "However, if women aren't proactive, their PMS won't magically disappear. There's no cure, but books like The Princess and the PMS offer take-charge strategies to overcome the symptoms for most women."

Written by a bestselling team of comedy writers and medical, nutritional and alternative medicine specialists (including president of the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine and author of Food for Life Neal Barnard, M.D. and Integrative Medicine specialist, psychiatrist and author Hyla Cass, M.D.), The Princess and the PMS offers a lighthearted but medically sound approach to beating PMS.
